What a way to relax

There is nothing better than a relaxing day off.  If you’re like me, you look forward to those kind of days.  Unforturnately for most of us we aren’t afforded many of those kind of days, especially for parents relaxation days are a rarity.  There seems to be so many things to do with so little time to do it.  Even with such limited time in a day I’ve actually found a way to incorporate a soothing 20 minute detox bath into my evenings. I find it relaxing and it goes perfect with a hot cup of tea to finish off my evening.  Here’s what I usually do.  I start by running a nice warm bath and I then add the following:

  • 2 cups of Epsom Salt
  • 1 cup of Baking Soda
  • 10 drops of Lavender essential oil
  • **Note:  you may use any essential oil fragrance you choose, I choose lavendar because it helps me rest at night.
